The Haringey Food Assembly 2026
📅 Friday 20 November 2026
🕓 4:00pm - 8:00pm
📍 The Irish Centre, Haringey
Join residents, community organisations, food projects, growers, local businesses, councillors and public sector partners for an inspiring evening of conversation, connection and action.
The Haringey Food Assembly 2026 is an opportunity to come together and help shape the future of food in our borough. Through participatory discussions and shared learning, we will explore how to build a healthier, fairer and more resilient food system for everyone.
The Assembly builds on the work of the Haringey Community Food Network (HCFN) and our ongoing collaboration with The Humanity Project to develop a culture of People's Assemblies, placing residents and communities at the heart of decision-making.
It also reflects the commitment of the HCFN Management Committee to strengthen and rebuild relationships with key partners across the borough, including Public Health, Haringey Council, and Haringey VCS key partner, recognising that meaningful change can only happen through collaboration.
As Haringey continues to face challenges around food insecurity, health inequalities, rising living costs and community resilience, the Assembly will provide a space for residents and organisations to come together, share experiences, identify priorities and help shape a collective vision for the future.
