The Frank O’Dea Songbook returns to the United Arts Club Dublin on Friday, 16th October 2026. This informal evening will feature a great lineup of invited singers, songwriters, and musicians performing a selection of Frank’s original compositions, alongside their own material and covers. Special Guest on the night will be singer/songwriter Keith Burke.About Frank O'Dea:
Frank O'Dea is a Dublin-based musician, songwriter, and artist, and the founder and art director of the Balla Bán Art Gallery in the Westbury Mall. In tandem with his previous career in banking, Frank spent years as a regular piano player in Dublin's favourite restaurants and wine bars, including long-standing residencies at Nico's Italian Restaurant on Dame Street and Chapter One, and other restaurants around the city.
Frank has been composing and recording music for over 30 years and is a frequent finalist in regional song competitions—most recently reaching the final of the 2026 Tipperary International Peace Song Contest.
His collaborative work includes co-writing a children's song that was recorded by the late, legendary Dublin entertainer Pat Ingoldsby (with fellow songwriter Mark Crosbie), as well as writing for recording artists Sara Piccolo and Rebecca Winckworth in recent years. Frank is currently working on a number of music projects with various singers and musicians both in Ireland and overseas. His latest project involves composing tracks for his virtual girl pop band, "The Cardboard Cut Out Girls.” Discover more of his music and projects at www.frankodea.hq, and follow Frank for updates on his music across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
