About this Event

Open to women only, especially expecting and new mums with babies 0-12 months.

Motherhood brings incredible changes, both physically and emotionally. Join us for a welcoming and supportive Fourth Trimester Talk, where we’ll explore postpartum, motherhood and everything in between.

We are delighted to welcome back Luciane Alberto, Osteopath from Eve Clinic, who will lead an open, relaxed and Q&A-style conversation about the postnatal journey.

This session is an opportunity for mums to come together, share their lived experiences, ask questions and feel heard, understood and supported in a safe and welcoming environment.

Together, we’ll explore the changes the body goes through during the postnatal period, gain useful knowledge about postpartum recovery and open up conversations around the realities of motherhood.

Whether you're navigating pregnancy, early days of motherhood, further along in your postpartum journey or simply looking for a space to connect with other mums, this talk is for you.

What to expect:

  • An open and honest conversation about postpartum and motherhood.
  • Insights into the physical changes the body experiences after birth.
  • Practical knowledge and guidance from an experienced osteopath.
  • An opportunity to ask questions and learn from Luciane.
  • A supportive space to share experiences, connect and feel less alone.
  • A free coffee or tea in a warm and welcoming space.

About the speaker

Luciane Alberto is an osteopath, Brazilian-trained physiotherapist and women’s health clinician with over 20 years of experience helping people understand and improve their health.

She is the founder of eve clinic, an independent healthcare practice in London, where she supports women experiencing pelvic pain, menstrual health conditions, pregnancy-related concerns, pelvic floor dysfunction and menopause-related changes. @eve.clinic.london

Her approach goes beyond treating symptoms. She believes in listening, understanding the whole person and giving women the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health.

Alongside her clinical work, Luciane is passionate about education and regularly shares her knowledge through lectures, workshops and professional training.

Her mission is simple: to help women feel heard, understand their bodies and realise that living with persistent pain should never be considered their only option.

About The Bridge

The Bridge is a women’s health and wellbeing charity based in Southwark working to create inclusive and welcoming spaces for women of all identities to connect and thrive for over 90 years. We believe in a fairer society where women’s voices are heard and their health and wellbeing are valued and respected. Through our women-only gym, community café, wellbeing programmes and support groups, we help women care for themselves, support one another and challenge injustices together.

How to contribute

At The Bridge, we’re all about working together and building meaningful partnerships with the women in our community. We believe that everyone has something valuable to offer, and that means everyone has a role in shaping our work—because The Bridge belongs to all of us. We celebrate each person’s unique strengths and contributions, creating opportunities for everyone to get involved in a way that feels right for them.

Whether you give your time, skills, or financial support, every contribution means we’re working together to make The Bridge the space we want it to be.

One way to support our work is through our pay-what-you-can model, which ensures that our activities and events are accessible to all while allowing space for contributions to go towards helping us sustain what we do. Whatever you choose to give, it all makes a difference.

Want to get involved and contribute in other ways? We’d love to hear from you!
