“Love is patient, love is kind.” Unfortunately, Hugo Wolf's lovers never got the message! Join soprano Julia Dawson, bass-baritone Giles Tompkins, and pianist Kathryn Tremills as they weave Wolf's German settings of Italian love poetry — amorous, irascible, and gloriously unrepentant — together with songs by Stephen Sondheim, Joni Mitchell, Henri Duparc, and others. Expect flirtation, jealousy, heartbreak, and the occasional happy ending.
