London Muslim Centre (ELM), 1st Floor Hall
The Shamā’il is more than learning a description of the Prophet ﷺ. It is an opportunity to get to know the person whom, Allah sent as a mercy to the worlds, to appreciate his noble character, and to reflect on how we can bring his Sunnah into our own lives.
What will we explore?During this seminar, we will explore:
- The beautiful physical description of the Prophet ﷺ
- His noble character and manners
- His mercy, gentleness, humility and generosity
- His relationship with his family, companions and wider community
- His worship and relationship with Allah ﷻ
- His everyday life, habits and conduct
- How he ﷺ responded to hardship, difficulty and adversity
- Practical ways we can embody his character and follow his example today
Drawing upon Qur’anic guidance and authentic narrations from the Sunnah, this seminar will aim to deepen our understanding, love and appreciation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
Why attend? In a time when countless influences and role models surround us, this seminar allows us to pause and reconnect with the greatest example for mankind, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Come and spend time learning about the life and character of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, not simply to know more about him, but to ask ourselves: How can knowing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ change the way I live, worship, speak and treat others?
All are welcome. We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of learning, reflection and remembrance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
