The Bar Council’s Pupillage Fair is the only event of its kind delivered by the Bar Council of England and Wales—the professional body that represents all practising barristers and works to champion the rule of law and promote access to justice, and support the next generation of barristers.
Join us on Saturday 17 October 2026 to meet in-person with chambers and organisations from across the Bar. From Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October join our series of Life at the Bar webinars to hear from barristers about their experiences at the Bar, how to use our Pupillage Gateway and what funding and support is available to you.
The Pupillage Fair is delivered in partnership with the Council of the Inns of Court and supported by the Specialist Bar Associations and Circuits.
5 reasons to attend the Pupillage Fair:
- Meet barristers and representatives from chambers, Specialist Bar Associations, Inns of Court and more, at our online sessions and in-person event
- Get advice on your CV and applications
- Find out more about funding and support
- Discuss opportunities with a wide range of pupillage providers from all practice areas including criminal, family, Chancery, commercial, general civil, mixed practice – and more
- Connect with your community – network with other aspiring barristers and chat with organisations committed to supporting diversity at the Bar
