About this Event
An afternoon for men and women to explore connection, communication and masculine-feminine polarity.
You might want more confidence in dating, more openness in your relationship, more self-love, or simply the chance to connect beyond everyday small talk.
The Art of Embodied Connection brings men and women together to explore what helps us feel present, express ourselves honestly and welcome deeper connection. We’ll notice what brings us closer and what holds us back, with curiosity rather than judgement.
Through direct experience, we’ll explore how masculine and feminine energies meet and what they bring out in each of us.
What we’ll explore
The afternoon includes guided partner and solo practices, sharing and time for breaks. We’ll practise:
- Grounding and connecting with the body
- Masculine and feminine energy
- Eye-gazing and connection beyond words
- Expressing feelings, desires and boundaries honestly
- Noticing what helps us open and what causes us to hold back
- Movement, stillness and expression
Bring whatever you’d like to explore in relationships, dating or intimacy. It could be confidence, self-love, fun, deeper connection, or something else that matters to you.
Choose your practice
The masculine practice invites you to explore staying grounded, expressing yourself honestly and meeting feminine energy with warmth and presence. You’ll practise remaining connected to yourself without needing to perform, fix or control another person’s experience.
The feminine practice invites you to explore openness, expression and your body’s responses to masculine presence. There’s space to connect with your desires, honour your boundaries and notice what supports trust while staying true to yourself.
Both energies exist within each of us. The workshop primarily invites men to explore the masculine and women to explore the feminine, but you’re equally welcome to choose the other focus. Places are balanced between the two practices.
Your choice throughout
Every practice is an invitation. You may participate, modify an exercise, observe or pause at any time.
Everyone remains fully clothed. Some practices may include optional, non-sexual contact, such as holding hands or sharing a hug. All touch is consent-led, never expected and always your choice.
This is not a dating or tantra event. Sexuality may be mentioned where relevant, but there will be no sexual activity or sexual touch.
No previous experience is necessary. The practices can bring up emotions or familiar relationship patterns, so a willingness to reflect on your experience and respect your own limits is helpful.
