About this Event
How many incidents can your team resolve before the time runs out?
Join Datadog and Critical Cloud for an immersive, hands-on reliability engineering challenge where teams investigate failures, troubleshoot distributed systems, and respond to realistic operational incidents in a live cloud-native environment.
Tears of the SRE is a fast-paced interactive simulation designed to showcase how modern engineering teams detect, investigate, and resolve incidents using observability, collaboration, and structured incident response practices.
Working together against the clock, participants will uncover clues, trace issues across Kubernetes and microservices environments, and compete in capture-the-flag style challenges inspired by real-world operational scenarios.
Why Attend?
By participating in Tears of an SRE, you'll:
- Experience how modern engineering teams investigate and resolve incidents under pressure
- Learn practical troubleshooting techniques for Kubernetes and distributed systems
- Improve your understanding of observability-driven incident response
- Discover ways to reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) through better visibility and collaboration
- Benchmark your approach against real-world reliability engineering practices
- Gain hands-on experience using Datadog to accelerate troubleshooting and root cause analysis
