About this Event
Take part in our 2026 charity initiative - a national campaign that will have a local impact in association with The Pantry UK.
Sharing food and nourishing others is one of the simplest, most powerful ways of showing we care and we are working with The Pantry to redistribute food to grassroots communities through their school network to feed some of the most deserving and vulnerable people across the UK.
Food is something that brings people together and over which memories are created, businesses discussed and plans nurtured. How often do we hear stories of how the business was always the focus of conversations around the kitchen table, the heart of the family and the birthplace of so many great British family firms?
It was such an inspiring campaign last year and really did make a difference with over 300 food parcels delivered and we are hoping to do even more this year.
We know from talking to the team at The Pantry that children are attending school hungry, some with packed lunched with leftovers from the night before and we want to make a difference and our vision for the 2026 campaign is for The Family Business Festive Food Parcel to bring the community together to celebrate as a force for good nationally and to make a tangible difference locally.
Join us at one of our two in person events:
1 - Sound Leisure in Leeds on December 8 - 9.30am
At Sound Leisure we will be in their factory to see where they manufacture their jukeboxes, tour the factory and network whilst helping to make a difference. This will be the focus of our Northern campaign.
2 - Haymans of London on December 9 - 6.00pm
At Haymans of London we will be in their distillery to see where they manufacture their drinks, taste one and network whilst helping us to make a difference. The will be the focus of our Southern campaign.
Get Involved:
- Make a cash donation and we will the items for you
- 'Buy' parcels and we will sort the contents for each of them
- Host a collection of food items and drop it off to us
- Donate some of the food products you manufacture
- Join us for the event and bring a selection of products with you
Book your ticket today to join us and all that we ask is you join the campaign by bringing a food parcel which will be added to the regional collection and donated to children and their families in need via The Pantry network of schools. Our team will be working closey with Headteachers to identify families where we can make the biggest impact this Christmas.
We will obviously be sharing details on sociual media and will make plenty of noise to celebrate the involvement of family businesses in the campaign.
Food Items To Donate
Tinned produce, lentils, rice and basic foodstuffs, cereals and soups as well as some festive treats are welcome and will be collected on the day, sorted and packed into parcels and distributed well in advance of the festive break. If you are unable to join us, or would like to make a donation to the campaign, please do so using the 'ticketing option for a donation' and we will do a shop and include the items in the regional collection. Donations will be used to purchase items to add to the parcels.
As an organisation, if you want to get more involved such as by hosting a food parcel collection and bringing it on the day we would be delighted.
All of the items donated to this campaign will be used to support and make a difference to those in need this Christmas.
