🔻 First Meeting: The Secret of the World of CommoditiesWorried about climate change? Troubled by wars, exploitation, and genocide?
These are not isolated tragedies, nor are they simply unfortunate side effects. They are rooted in the very workings of a system that puts profit above people and the planet.
Join us for the first out of three discussions of Karl Marx's Capital - a work that lays bare the ruthless logic of capitalism and exposes the machinery through which it exploits workers, deepens inequality, fuels imperialist rivalries, and relentlessly plunders the natural world. From the exploitation of labour to environmental destruction, from economic crises to imperialist violence, we'll explore how the relentless pursuit of profit shapes our lives, destroys communities, and threatens the future of our planet.
Come and take a closer look at the system we live under, question what we have been taught to accept as inevitable, and discover why Marx's critique remains as relevant as ever.
🗣️ Discussion will be held mainly in English, but translation to and from Polish will be available.
