To doskonała okazja, by poznać lokalne tradycje w praktyce, spróbować swoich sił w rzemiośle piekarskim i spędzić czas w miłym, doktoranckim gronie. 😋

🇬🇧 InaugurUJ is a week in October – this year from 19 to 25 October – packed with events organised by the JU PhD Student Association. The varied programme of events helps you settle into the new academic year, take a break from your daily routine, and get to know other PhD students. It is aimed primarily at those who have only just started their PhD programmes – but we warmly invite everyone to take part! 🍂
🧑🍳 Integration – both of the doctoral and local community – is also an important part of InaugurUJ. What better way to get to know Kraków than through its most famous delicacy? Join us for a workshop at the Living Obwarzanek Museum, where we’ll explore the history of this Kraków icon, learn the secrets of how it’s baked, and make our very own obwarzanek!
This is a brilliant opportunity to experience local traditions first-hand, try your hand at the art of baking, and spend time in the pleasant company of fellow PhD students. Whether you’ve been in Kraków for years or are just discovering the city – we guarantee a solid dose of knowledge, great fun and delicious memories! 😋
