A Special Tribute to Pavee Point’s 40-Year Legacy
A highlight of the 2025 parade is a special pageant celebrating 40 years of Pavee Point created in collaboration with the Roma Traveller Centre.
- Honoring Shared Traditions – A vibrant tribute to the Irish Traveller and Roma communities highlighting their rich cultural heritage through dance storytelling and craft.
- The Symbolic Wagon Wheel – At the heart of this pageant is the iconic wagon wheel a powerful representation of both cultures. The art of crafting wagon wheels has faded in Ireland but this year Pavee Point has partnered with a skilled English Romani craftsperson to revive this tradition bringing history to life.
This pageant not only celebrates cultural heritage but also serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving traditions for future generations.
The Largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade to Date
With half a million spectators expected to line the route the 2025 parade is set to be the largest ever. It will feature:

Parade Route:
The National St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin on March 17 2025 starts at 12:00 PM from Parnell Square and moves down O’Connell Street crossing O’Connell Bridge. It then proceeds through Westmoreland Street College Green Dame Street Christchurch Place and Lord Edward Street before concluding near St. Patrick’s Cathedral/Kevin Street area.
