SPITE attract outsiders together by way of a hypnotic, heavy vengeance bordering on thrash intricacy and deathcore intimacy. As a result, the Northern California quartet engender a level of devout fandom that can only be categorized in canonical terms. The group’s willingness to push the envelope quietly transformed them into one of modern heavy music’s most intense forces. They have tallied tens of millions of streams and destroyed stages alongside Whitechapel and Carnifex. For a generation of malcontents and outsiders desperate for that extra bit of adrenaline, just to make it through another day, the unrivaled ability of Frankie Palmeri to flip his middle fingers at the world (and himself), with equal bravado and passion, has made EMMURE essential listening. Emmure’s confrontational spirit and irresistible hooks won them fans on Rockstar Mayhem, Warped Tour, Knotfest, countless festivals, and on tour with a diverse range of bands that includes Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying.
BOTH Spite & Emmure have sold out the respective previous headlines shows in Bristol. Now they join forces and for an unmissable co-headline.
Completing the bill is the hyper-dissonant downtempo deathcore, slamming brutal death metal and beatdown of Netherland’s DISTANT and Indianapolis-based, MAULED, who set fire to the modern day deathcore rulebook and take it back to the early days of the scene!
Be sure to get down EARLY!! This is an early show, with 5pm doors, two supports, two co-headline sets and 9:45pm finish time.
