Led by the extraordinary voice of Tierinii Jackson Naftaly and the dynamic guitar work of Ori Naftaly, Southern Avenue has earned a reputation for explosive performances, deeply personal songwriting, and music that moves both the heart and the feet.
Their 2025 Alligator Records album, Family, earned a 2026 GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album, reached No. 1 on the Global Blues Radio Charts in the U.K., and received widespread acclaim, including recognition from NPR Music. The band was also named 2025 Band of the Year by Living Blues and received multiple 2026 Blues Music Award nominations.
Southern Avenue has shared stages with legends including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews Band, and Trombone Shorty, and has performed at major festivals such as the Chicago Blues Festival, AmericanaFest, and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Often compared to Gavin DeGraw and Amos Lee, he has shared stages with Mavis Staples, The Revivalists, Black Pumas, The Temptations, and many more.
