Join Beckles Dancing Company for the 26th Annual South Dallas Dance Festival – New Horizons, November 13–14, 2026, at the South Dallas Cultural Center.For more than 25 years, the South Dallas Dance Festival has brought together emerging and established artists, local and regional choreographers, dance companies, students, and audiences for a celebration of dance, culture, creativity, and community.
This year’s theme, New Horizons, celebrates artistic growth, new voices, and the possibilities that emerge when artists and communities come together.
The two-day festival will feature two evening performances, including world premieres by Anthony Joseph Wade Jr. and Rosemarie Sanders, along with works by Beckles Dancing Company and guest artists.
On Saturday, the festival continues with a Youth Showcase, providing young dancers and student performers an opportunity to take the stage and be part of the festival experience. Festival programming also includes a Master Class and Panel Discussion, creating opportunities for dancers, artists, and community members to learn, connect, exchange ideas, and engage with one another beyond the stage.
More than a performance, the South Dallas Dance Festival is a gathering place for performance, education, artist development, and community connection.
