Rules and regulations for the tournament:
- Official ball size: 5.
- Rolling substitution is permitted.
- Offside rule will not be followed.
- All players must put on turfs only (no boot is allowed in the field).
- Shin guards are strongly recommended.
- No goals will be awarded from a direct goal-kick.
- The goalkeeper will not be allowed to grab a back pass.
- A player is allowed to play for one team only and must be playing in only one category.
- If a player from any team produces fake documents and is found guilty, the team will be disqualified immediately.
- Each team must be present in the field with all their players at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
- If a team is not present within 5 minutes of the starting time of the scheduled match, their opponents will be given a walk over.
- In case of walk over, opponent team will be declared winner with a 1–0 goal difference.
- Any team gives walk over in a match of group (league) stage, the team will still be permitted to play the next available match.
- Any player is getting direct red card or two consecutive yellow cards will be suspended from the next match.
- Referees' decision is final. Player/players will be penalized for any kinds of argument with the referee.
- All players are requested to maintain discipline inside SEMC premises strictly. Any indecent behavior may result in player/team disqualification.
- In case of any dispute, the organizing committee or the jury of appellate will take responsibility to resolve the matter. The organizing committee holds the authority to bring about any changes in fixtures.
- FIFA rules will be followed where applicable.
Tournament Details:
- Only invited English Medium Schools will be allowed to play.
- Each team will consist of 12 players, 1 Coach, and 1 Manager.
- No participant will be allowed to enter without IDs (including the players, coaches, officials, spectators etc.). Everyone is requested to cooperate with security checks at the entrance.
- Maximum 30 spectators are allowed from a school. Spectators must bring their school ID cards. All ID cards must be valid for the current academic school year.
Participating schools require to comply with the following instruction:**
- The school representative must submit the following documents:
- a. Student ID card and current pay slip of each player.
- b. Statement of Entry/Result of O Level (for AS) and AS Level (for A Level) player.
- c. List of name and contact number of team officials.
- d. In case of foreign players, will submit the photocopy of individual Passport, visa page.
Tournament Format:
- Matches will be played 7-A side.
- In group stage, winning team will get 3 points. However, in case of draw match, both the team will get 1 point each.
- If two teams are tied with same points in group stage, the team with a higher goal difference will qualify to the next round. In case the goal difference becomes equal, penalty shootout will decide the qualifier for the next round.
Time format for matches:
- Group Stages: 8 minutes for each half with 2 minutes break.
- Quarter/Semi-finals: 10 minutes for each half with 2 minutes break.
- Finals: 15 minutes for each half with 3 minutes break.
