Every Tuesday after 7pm, Bampot becomes a focused sapphic community space. Different events each week invite new connections & creativity! As of June 2026, all of our events on Sapphic Tuesdays are PWYC. We tested a few different models, and ultimately felt best about making it as accessible and consistent as possible. PWYC ticket sales goes to supply costs and facilitator fees, not to Bampot. Please support Cass and our other facilitators through your ticket donation and support Bampot by grabbing a tea or a bite to eat when you come by.
BIPOC Sapphic Night - (September 1st)
If you’re BIPOC and sapphic and looking for more spaces dedicated to you, this night is for you! Join the OhSappho.TO event collective for their takeover of Sapphic Tuesdays. There will be crafts! There will be music! There will be fun!
Scissoring - Make a Felt Rat! Pt2 (September 8th)
Scissoring returns for our monthly craft night! After so much popular demand for a second rat night, we’re bringing the rats back. This time, weirder than ever! Come make your very own felt rat. Imbue it with your love and intentions and desires and you’ll have your very own weird little guy for life (what we all dream of). Maybe even make a hat for the rat?
Supplies and a pattern will be provided!
Not into rats? Come make a different felt creature! Or bring your own craft! No wrong way to scissor. Except like, well…you know.
This event will also serve as a top surgery fundraiser! Ticket sales will be donated to support a community member’s recovery costs.
Sapphic Chess Night! (September 15th)
For all the chess lovers out there: it’s chess night! Come have a sexy flirt over a battle of wits. Bring your own board if you desire - boards will also be provided.
All levels are welcome! If you’re just starting out but curious about chess, there will be a beginner section with education on how to play. If you’re a seasoned chess lover, there will also be an area for more intermediate/advanced players.
Not into chess? No problem! Grab a board game and make some new friends!
Open Dyke Night (September 22nd)
It’s the gayest open mic in town! Hosted by Cherry Bomb, we’ll be creating a space for dykes of all kinds to share their writing, art, comedy and music in an open mic setting. If you have work that explores queer love and identity, or if you’re just a dyke with a funny story to tell, we want to hear from you. Nothing is too big or too small, too polished or too raw. We want it all. Come to share, or just come to take in all that the city’s dykes have to offer.
Open mic sign up form will be at the door from 7:00PM onward.
