The Sapphic Salon is open! This event series is dedicated to facilitating conversation and knowledge sharing. It’s a good ole fashioned yap sesh. This month, put your yearning to paper at our sapphic poetry writing workshop, with something for brand new writers and advanced writers alike!

Sapphic Holiday Movie (December 9th)

Join Cherry Bomb and the Lesbian Film Society of Toronto for a special screening of Looking for Her. In this movie, a workaholic has to go home for the holidays so she hires an actress to play her girlfriend. Will they fall in love and find the true spirit of Christmas? Only one way to find out! Come watch along, play some games and chat about your favourite romance movie tropes (there will be a lot of them in this one).

Sapphic Game Nights: Trivia (December 16th)

Can you easily recite an endless stream of fun facts? Are you up to date on pop culture tea? Do you know all there is to know about sapphic history, from fashion to sport to culture to music? If so, you are going to absolutely clean up at Sapphic Trivia! Come with a group or solo and test your knowledge on all things gay.

Open Dyke Night (December 23rd)
This Open Dyke Night, we're throwing a little holiday dinner party first. Come for 6PM and have a seat at our merry and gay table - $25 tickets for a drink and dinner. Stick around for the Open Mic or join just for it later, PWYC at 9PM.

You know it, you love it, it’s Open Dyke Night! Hosted by Cherry Bomb, we’ll be creating a space for dykes of all kinds to share their writing, art, comedy and music in an open mic setting. Come share your art or scream a silly song into the mic. Nothing is too big or too small, too polished or too raw. We want it all. Come to share, or just come to take in all that the city’s dykes have to offer.

Open mic sign up form will be at the door from 8:30PM.

It’ll be a great night full of stellar sapphic art, so come on out and share yours, or just listen in!

Sapphic Soirée (December 30th)

All sapphic, all day.
Join us from 11am-7pm for sapphic programming.

11- 2: Tea and Talks - Join us and some special guest storytellers and educators!

2 -4: Tarot, Intention Setting and Manifestation - As the new year approaches, join us for a lightly guided intention-setting workshop and get a tarot reading!

4 - 7: Scissoring - It’s not a sapphic Tuesday without some scissoring! Come craft with us. We’ll be providing the material and a short workshop for felt crafts. Collaging material also provided. Or, bring a craft you’re working on and come hang.
