Step into a fashion experience unlike any other.

Runway of Reimagining is a bold and transformative fashion experience created by designer Delina Yohannes, a Master’s student in OCAD University’s Inclusive Design program. This is not a traditional fashion show—it is a living experiment in care, creativity, and collective storytelling.

As a Black model and designer, Delina Yohannes draws from her own lived experience navigating the fashion industry. Rather than reproducing the same systems that often exclude people, she flips the script—inviting participants to design the show together, create the atmosphere, and transform the runway into a platform for visibility, expression, and change.

Instead of a top-down production, this show is built through co-design sessions, where the very people who tend to work behind the scenes, help create the runway itself.

Photographers, makeup artists, stylists, and designers from diverse creative backgrounds come together to shape every aspect of the show. Their skills, perspectives, and artistry take center stage—literally.

Runway of Reimagining also centers disabled creatives and models, challenging the industry’s long-standing absence of disabled bodies on the runway. It asks powerful questions: Why are certain bodies celebrated while others are excluded? What would fashion look like if everyone truly belonged? By design, storytelling and performance, our event pushes back against racism and ableism in fashion and imagines a future where difference is celebrated.

This event is more than a fashion show. It’s a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community.
