About this Event
Feeling fatigued, sluggish or stuck in a winter rut?
In Ayurvedic seasonal wisdom, this time of year carries Vata & Kapha qualities: coolness, dryness, heaviness and stillness.
Rest is essential, but when we feel too cold, stagnant or withdrawn, we may need a little warmth and gentle movement to find our balance again.
Rooted in Rhythm is a nourishing winter workshop designed to soften Winter heaviness and bring a little more warmth, steadiness and ease into body and mind. Rather than pushing through the season, we will explore gentle practices that help us root into winter while tending the small inner fire that carries us forward.
Through warming yoga, breath practices, meditation and reflective journalling, we will reconnect with our bodies, our energy and our natural rhythm.
A nourishing afternoon of:
- Warming, grounding yoga
- Breath practices (pranayama)
- Ayurveda-inspired seasonal wisdom
- Guided meditation and deep rest
- Reflective journalling
- Masala chai and a seasonal treat
Together, we will create space to soften winter heaviness, reconnect with the body, and explore simple seasonal practices to take home.
Leave with…
- A greater sense of warmth and steadiness
- Feeling grounded and more connected to your body
- A gentler relationship with winter rest and slower rhythms
- Simple Ayurvedic-inspired practices to support you through the season
No previous yoga experience or any knowledge of Ayurveda is needed.
This is a welcoming space that meets you just where you are.
