About Remembrance Sunday:
This special event offers music and poetry to commemorate the millions of lives lost, in conflict, throughout the world, in the 20th century to present day. This is for the people within our community to come together to sing and pray for the loss of loved ones.
Through song, we can remove the isolation often felt, even for a short period. We still experience joyful moments, even in the darkest times. This is a fitting day to hold each other dear.
Programme:
10:45 - Poetry and readings
11:00 - Two minute silence
11:02 - Choir performances
12:00-1:00pm - An hour of silent refection for those wishing to stay.
Booking info:
Free entry (donations very welcome).
Open to all faiths and none.
No need to book, just turn up on the day.
