About this Event
Remember Us is an intimate day retreat at a private residence created for friends who still love each other, but recognize that life may have changed the way they connect.
Maybe one of you got married. Maybe someone became a mother. Maybe careers became more demanding, grief changed your capacity, schedules stopped lining up, or the friendship simply became quieter over time. Sometimes nothing dramatic happened. Life just shifted, and somewhere along the way, the friendship did too.
This retreat is an opportunity to slow down and make space for each other again.
Hosted by licensed therapist Kabe Sharpe, LCSW-S, Remember Us brings together reflection, honest conversation, creativity, good food, and intentional fun in a beautiful private setting. The day is designed to help you look back at the seasons that shaped your friendship, better understand where you both are now, and have conversations about what you want your friendship to look like moving forward.
Picture arriving with your friend to a warm, thoughtfully styled home, grabbing breakfast, settling into a comfortable space, laughing over old memories, and spending the day reconnecting without rushing to the next obligation. You’ll move through guided friendship experiences, enjoy lunch together, participate in creative activities, and leave with meaningful keepsakes from the day.
There will be room for both the light and the honest.
You may laugh about who you used to be, realize there were parts of each other’s lives you never fully understood, name expectations that went unspoken, or finally have a conversation you kept saying you would get around to having.
And there will also be plenty of time to simply enjoy being friends.
