A Perth meetup for practical AI conversations, real workflows, honest lessons, community discussion, and ideas you can take back to work.
About this Event

See how AI is actually being used, tested, discussed, and improved across Western Australia.

AI is easy to talk about. The more useful conversations happen when people share the workflows, experiments, decisions, and lessons behind the technology.

The WA AI Integration Meetup is a monthly evening in Perth for people who want practical examples rather than another product demo. Each session explores a different theme through a short talk, a real-workflow walkthrough, and open conversation with the WA community.

Whether you are already using AI, just starting to explore it, or simply curious about what others are doing, you are welcome.

Upcoming themes
  • Pilot Stories: What Stopped, What Scaled
    Wednesday, 25 November 2026, 5:30 pm–7:30 pm
  • End-of-Year Showcase: Alumni Artefacts
    Wednesday, 9 December 2026, 5:30 pm–7:30 pm

Who this is for

This is an open community meetup for:

  • Practitioners and professionals
  • Business owners and operators
  • Council and government officers
  • Students and researchers
  • WA AI Hub alumni
  • Anyone interested in practical AI integration

Capacity is limited to 60 people. Newcomers are very welcome. A first-timers' table is available, and no prior AI knowledge is assumed.

What we will do together
  • Connect with the community: Arrive from 5:30 pm for informal networking and meet people exploring AI across different sectors.
  • Explore a monthly theme: Each session focuses on a practical question around AI workflows, governance, experimentation, or implementation.
  • Hear from practitioners: Listen to a short talk and see a real workflow, example, or artefact in action.
  • Join the conversation: Take part in small-table discussion to compare experiences, ask questions, and share what you are seeing in your own work.
  • Take one idea with you: We close at 7:30 pm with a practical prompt card to help you continue the conversation or apply an idea after the meetup.

What you will take home
  • A practical session prompt card
  • An invitation to the WA AI Readiness Snapshot, a 12-question diagnostic
  • A pathway map showing which WA AI Hub session, if any, may suit your next step
  • New connections and practical ideas from the WA AI community

Good to know

This is a community meetup, not a formal training session. No preparation is required and no technical background is assumed. You are welcome to bring a laptop or notebook, but there is no need to bring work materials or confidential information. The meetup takes place at The Platform, Perth, with informal networking from 5:30 pm, the themed session from 6:00 pm, and the evening wrapping up at 7:30 pm.

Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Policy

1) Your legal rights: Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits them. This policy applies to tickets for this event only.

2) If we cancel or materially change the event: If we cancel this event, or change its date, content, format or delivery mode so materially that it no longer meets your reasonable needs, you can choose either:

(a) a full refund of the total you paid, including Eventbrite fees, to your original payment method; or

(b) a transfer to a later event of your choice.

We do not deduct any fee from these refunds. Minor changes, such as a substitute presenter, a running-order change, or a different room at the same venue, do not entitle you to a refund under this clause. If you think a change is material, email and we will decide within 5 business days. We will give reasons if we decline, and your legal rights are unaffected.

3) If you cannot attend: Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind. If you tell us at least 14 days before the event, you may move your ticket once to another session, subject to availability. It has no cash value.

4) Transferring your ticket to another person: You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 7 days before the event, by emailing with the new attendee’s name and email, or via Eventbrite’s transfer tool where enabled. Tickets must not be resold for more than you paid. We set this cut-off because we confirm final attendee numbers with the venue and caterer, and prepare name badges and course materials, 7 days before each event.

5) No-show or leaving early: No refund or credit is available if you do not attend or leave part-way through, except as required by law.

6) Refund requests: Email with your name, order number and the clause you rely on. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and decide them within 10 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days.

7) Conduct: We may refuse entry or remove an attendee who endangers others or seriously disrupts the event. No refund is due for that. This does not limit your legal rights.

8) Tickets sold through Eventbrite: Eventbrite processes tickets. Its refund tools and terms apply in addition to this policy, and we will honour the rights set out here. For advisory, training or consulting under a separate written agreement, that agreement’s terms apply together with clauses 1 and 2.

(Free events: use the same text, but remove “including Eventbrite fees” from clause 2, and remove the session-transfer sentence from clause 3 if tickets cannot be moved)
