THE SILKS EXPERIENCE
Led by Chef de Cuisine Kwan Cheung, the Silks kitchen celebrates the depth and diversity of Cantonese cuisine while bringing a contemporary approach to traditional dishes.
Chef Kwan began his culinary journey in the 1990s after developing a passion for Chinese cuisine while living in Vancouver. He later honed his skills in a Chinese restaurant in his hometown of Macau before joining Silks in 2013, where he gained extensive experience preparing large-scale banquets.
In 2019, Kwan became Chef de Cuisine and now leads the Silks kitchen, creating a distinctive balance between traditional and new-style Cantonese cuisine.
