About this Event
Join Adinkraluv for a relaxing, hands-on painting experience that brings color, texture, and creativity together. Using an 8×8-inch textured wood piece, you’ll create artwork that is beautiful to look at and full of texture to explore.
Whether you’re new to painting or already enjoy creating, this guided session gives you room to experiment and make the design your own. Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a creative outing with your favorite people.
The experience
During this approximately two-hour session, you’ll receive step-by-step instruction on painting your base, choosing colors, and adding details that highlight the textured surface. A finished sample will provide inspiration, while you choose the colors and personal touches that make your piece unique.
With a small group of 10–15 participants, there will be time for questions, individual guidance, conversation, and enjoying the creative process. No painting experience is needed.
Your $70 ticket includes:
- One 8×8-inch textured wood piece to paint and take home. (3 wooden blank options available, pictured)
- Simple Dot Art tutorial
- Access to communal acrylic paints and painting supplies.
- Brushes and palettes.
- A plastic apron.
- Guided instruction and individual assistance.
- Light snacks.
BYOB: Bring your favorite wine or nonalcoholic beverage. No hard liquor or spirits, please.
This is a bring-your-own-beverage event. Bring something you enjoy sipping while you paint. Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little paint on, even with an apron.
Leave with something you created
At the end of the session, you’ll take home your personalized artwork, along with guidance on drying and handling your finished piece. It’s a chance to unwind, connect, and experience Adinkraluv’s love of layered textures firsthand.
