About this Event
Join us for a family-friendly evening of music, storytelling, and pizza! Sergei Prokofiev's beloved Peter and the Wolf introduces audiences to various musical instruments through a cast of unforgettable characters, each represented by its own musical voice.
Created and narrated by actor Peter Duschenes, founder of Platypus Theatre, with actors Sebastian Sage & Sofie Jarvis, this imaginative adaptation features a woodwind quintet and explores how music brings character to life. Through storytelling, humour, and live performance, audiences will discover how composers use melody, rhythm, and instrumental colour to create heroes, villains, and everything in between.
Perfect for children, families, and anyone young at heart, this engaging 45-minute concert offers a fresh perspective on one of classical music's most enduring tales.
