About this Event
Research is only useful when you can trace where the information came from and judge whether it is reliable.
Finding current information can take time, especially when you need to compare sources, check claims, and keep track of what is still uncertain. This practical Perplexity training shows you how to use Perplexity for source-grounded research while keeping evidence checking and human review at the centre.
You will work through practical research tasks using current sources, structured review steps, and safe practice scenarios to build a more reliable research workflow.

- Professionals who regularly work with current information and evidence
What we will do together
- Build a research workflow: Use Perplexity to structure research questions, find relevant sources, and organise information efficiently.
- Check source quality: Learn how to assess sources for authority, relevance, currency, and evidence before relying on them.
- Trace claims to evidence: Practise checking whether key statements are actually supported by the sources provided.
- Handle uncertainty: Record gaps, conflicting information, and areas that need further verification rather than treating every answer as conclusive.
- Apply human review: Use a simple review process before research findings are used in reports, policy work, teaching, strategy, or grant applications.
What you will take home

- A Source Quality Rubric
- An Evidence-Checking Checklist
