We're prolonging the Oktoberfest season the Cotton Canvas way—with cold lager, good company, and a wearable conversation starter for the festivities.
Join The Cotton Canvas at Bierstadt Lagerhaus in Denver's RiNo district on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 12–3 PM for an afternoon of craft art, traditional German-style lager, and creative shenanigans.
And, your first beverage of choice is on US!
The Cotton Canvas isn't your traditional paint-and-sip experience. Instead of painting a canvas destined for storage, you'll create something you can wear, again and again.
Choose from our collection of 200+ reusable stencil designs—from mechanical gears to beer mugs that make you want to shout "Cheers". Pick your stencil, choose your colors, and make the design completely yours.

Never painted before? Perfect!
The Cotton Canvas experience is designed for beginners. We'll guide you through the process step-by-step, from choosing your stencil and colors to applying fabric paint and adding the finishing touches. No artistic experience required—if you can hold a brush, you can do this.
👕 Your Canvas, Your Rules
A soft, unisex cotton t-shirt (size xs - xl) will be available for you to paint, or make the project even more personal by bringing your own cotton-based item from home.
Think denim jacket, jeans, hoodie, long-sleeve tee, canvas sneakers, pillowcase—or another item you've been waiting to turn into something completely your own. For bring-your-own pieces, The Cotton Canvas recommends fabric that is at least 50% cotton.
We'll bring the stencils, fabric paints, brushes and creative supplies.
You bring the personality!

We couldn't imagine a more fitting place to celebrate Oktoberfest.
Bierstadt Lagerhaus is a lager-focused brewery in Denver's RiNo district devoted to traditionally brewed German-style lagers and home to its famous Slow Pour Pils. The enormous Lagerhaus is also built for hanging out, with Bierstadt describing the venue as Denver's "indoor adult playground."
So order a lager, grab some German-inspired food, settle in with your stencil and make something worthy of Oktoberfest.
