Our biggest event of the year is almost here, and it's our 120th!
Join Leif Erikson Lodge on October 24 and 25 at historic Leif Erikson Hall for the 120th annual Nordic Market, a Ballard tradition since 1906. Free admission and open to all!
Eat: savory smørbrød sandwiches, delicate krumkake, and hearty rømmegrøt porridge, with good strong coffee all day.
Shop: rosemaling, Nordic clothing, handmade candles, jewelry, aquavit, unique Christmas decorations, embroidered dish towels, and more from our vendors. Vendors that will be there.
Play and win: Tombola prizes, gently loved treasures at Ditt og Datt, the Book Nook, a silent auction of antiques and vacation packages, and goodies and cash baskets at the Center Table.
The big raffle: Our Nordic Market Ticket Raffle drawing happens around 3:30 PM Sunday, with prizes including $1,000 cash, a Seattle Symphony night out for two with a Hotel Ändra stay ($600 value), a $200 Scandinavian Specialties gift certificate, and a $100 Skål Beer Hall gift certificate. Raffle tickets are $20 each (see FAQ).
