The mission of No Longer Bound Productions is to provide our communities with quality arts and cultural enrichment programs. These programs will emphasize the past-to-present contributions and accomplishments within the African-American community from an artistic and educational perspective, utilizing performance, visual, and mixed media arts as its foundation. We Are Free, No Longer Bound The Musical is the story of Juneteenth told with cultural and historical integrity. Audiences will journey from the West Coast of Mother Africa, through the ending of enslavement in the United States, and on to the victory and celebration of Juneteenth becoming a national holiday. Through dance, drumming, song, jazz, spoken word, and rap, viewers will further understand the sacrifices that were made to end enslavement in this country, as they experience the depth and breadth of the invaluable contributions of arts and culture made to the world via the African American experience, with a cast that ranges in age from 8 to 80.
