Turn the dial to Channel 80s.
This month, Moonstone TV rewinds the tape all the way back to the decade of neon, big hair and even bigger anthems. Back to the 80s is a one-day Sunday party packed with synth-pop, new wave, disco-funk and every chorus you didn’t know you still knew by heart.
Three DJs take over the decks from afternoon till night, so come early, dress loud and dance like nobody’s recording on a camcorder.
ON THE DECKS
DJ Silky
Once known as DJ Jammer, a 90s DJ and emcee who swapped the booth for the boardroom, Silky is back from the corporate rat race and better dressed than ever. Expect a mambo-jambo, open-format mash-up of 80s, 90s, 00s and today’s hits.
DJ Chris Ooi
A Singapore open-format DJ known for the art of reading the crowd. From retro classics to party anthems, Chris knows the perfect track for the perfect moment.
DJ Leonard T
A veteran of Singapore’s music scene with 30+ years shaping its dance floors. Leonard was a pioneer behind early EDM acts Club Ecstasy and The Usual Suspects, and has DJ’d the National Day Parade and the Kallang Stadium countdown. He blends retro, mainstream and underground like only a veteran can.
