About this Event
The 2027 Miami International GuitART Festival presents the early music ensemble Nova Hispania with Cuban guitarist/singer Liamna Pestana and Venezuelan singer/cuatro player Luciana Kube in concert, performing a program of historical sound worlds from Spain and the Americas.
Rooted in historically informed performance, the ensemble approaches early repertory as vivid human expression: intimate, theatrical, rhythmic, and deeply connected to language. The program moves between court, theater, salon, street, and colonial soundscapes, pairing scholarship with an immediate performance style designed for contemporary audiences.
The festival takes place from January 22nd through 31st with daily concerts, master classes, lectures, and a Luthiers Expo.
2027 MIGF FESTIVAL PASS is available to attend all festival events at a single reduced price. More info at MIGF website: migf.fiu.edu
