Mental Capacity & SLT: From case law to influencing clinical practice

The Mental Capacity CEN are excited to invite you to our annual face-to-face study day event focusing on improving legal literacy and influencing practice.

This year's programme includes:

• Case Law for SLTs - Case law updates relevant to the SLT profession from an experienced Court of Protection Barrister
• Court of Protection as an SLT - SLTs with experience of attending the Court of Protection share their experiences and reflections
• Consultation on RCSLT's 'Supported Decision Making and Mental Capacity' Professional Guidance - a facilitated opportunity to discuss the guidance, how this can best support clinical practice, and share your valuable views for the official consultation

This is a free event but it is ticketed with places limited, and **booking will close two weeks prior to the event on 3rd November**
