Slow down and push paint around. This workshop begins with a soothing guided meditation to quiet the mind and center the body, then flows gently into painting with presence and ease. Instead of striving for a finished product, you’ll explore the pure joy of moving paint across the canvas while painting in a way that feels good to your body and allows your mind to rest fully.
As you paint with awareness, stress begins to dissolve, giving way to a sense of calm, freedom, and creative flow. Each brushstroke aligns with the breath, each color a reflection of inner stillness.
Guided by Shelley Irish, art teacher, therapeutic arts coach, and certified mediation teacher, you’ll be supported in using imagination as a tool for personal liberation. Whether you’re brand new to painting or a seasoned artist, this unique self-care experience offers you a chance to reconnect with yourself, release tension, and nourish your spirit through art.
