CLASS IS CURRENTLY FULL!! Curious about Mahjong? Come learn with us!
We’re kicking off our brand-new Mahjong group with a beginner class! Whether you’ve never touched a Mahjong tile before or you’ve played a little and want a refresher, you’re welcome to join us.
Monday, October 5
3:30–5:30 PM
Valparaiso Library – Meeting Room B
We’ll go over the basics of the game, learn the tiles and cards, and start playing together. No experience necessary!
This is our very first gathering, so it’s the perfect time to jump in and learn with everyone else.
Have a Mahjong set? If you’re willing to bring it, please let us know! Depending on how many people join us, we may need a few extra sets.
Snacks are welcome! Food is allowed in the meeting room, so feel free to bring a snack or treat to share if you’d like. Absolutely not required!
Planning to join us? Please click “Going” on this event so we can get an idea of how many players to expect.
Come ready to learn, meet some new people, and have fun!
UPDATE:
Wow! We’re thrilled with the response to our first Mahjong class! Since this is our first gathering and we want everyone to have plenty of hands-on learning time, we’re going to limit this class to 12 participants. If you’re planning to attend, please make sure you’ve selected “Going.” Once we reach 12, we’ll close this class.
