About this Event
How do we make space for what matters? For our second Love aLIVE, we explore altar-making and sacred space design as a spiritual practice of holding, reflecting, and sustaining our spiritual and creative lives.
This session centers on the altar as a sacred space for practice: a desk for writing, a corner for music, a shelf of ritual tools, a room for quiet reflection. However it takes shape, an altar makes space for what matters most. It is a material reminder of the practice you're committed to and the person you're becoming. Drawing on concepts in set design, geomantic arts, interior design, and ritual, we'll learn to build spaces that transform the desire for change into a place where change can happen.
Facilitated by performing artist, ritualist, and curator Daevyd Pepper, this session will guide you in designing a sacred space of your own; one that reflects your values and invites you, every time you see it, back into the work of becoming who you want to be.
