Live Queer Amsterdam like LOCAL: History, Nightlife & Beyond

We begin at the Homomonument with a short, lively introduction to Amsterdam’s LGBTQI+ history—from persecution and resistance to Pride, liberation and nightlife.

From there, we make our way to Reguliersdwarsstraat, Amsterdam’s famous rainbow street. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about queer pioneers, activists, drag queens, legendary clubs and the people who helped make Amsterdam an international LGBTQI+ capital.

At Reguliersdwarsstraat, I’ll introduce you to the different bars, clubs and atmospheres. Whether you want cocktails, conversation, drag, pop music or a friendly first taste of gay nightlife, I’ll help you find somewhere that suits you.

The experience is intimate, personal and limited to five guests. LGBTQI+ travellers, solo visitors, couples, friends and respectful straight allies are all welcome.

Depending on your interests, I can recommend gay dance clubs, cruising venues, leather and fetish events, sex-positive parties, queer underground techno and legitimate invitation-only events.

I can also help with guest-list requests, advance tickets, dress codes, door policies and deciding which event is genuinely right for you. Guest-list requests and venue entry are never guaranteed.

The adventurous side is completely optional and only discussed when requested. You choose how deep into the night you want to go.
