**Let’s Draw The Angel, Islington**Saturday 17 October 2026
11am–3:30pm
Led by Peta Bridle and Michael Hill
This month we’re heading to Angel, Islington - a busy North London neighbourhood with Georgian streets, Upper Street, Chapel Market, Camden Passage, independent shops, cafés and plenty of passing people and traffic to keep things moving.
There’s a good mix of things to sketch: the streets around Islington Green, Bob the Cat, the market stalls at Chapel Market, the Angel Clock, Camden Passage and the changing architecture around Angel Central and Islington Square.
**Meet:** 11am at the War Memorial on Islington Green, at the junction of Upper Street and Essex Road, N1 0NY.
We’ll meet back at the same spot for our first throwdown and group photo at 1pm, and again at 3:30pm for the final one.
Afterwards, we’ll head to The Old Queen’s Head on Essex Road for a drink.
As always, the sketchwalk is free and open to everyone. No booking needed - just turn up with your sketchbook and drawing kit.
