Come weave willow into moons and stars, simple shapes that carry both beauty and meaning. Find more info at: https://www.halfmoonbaskets.com/weekend-of-weaving-january-2027#moon-and-star
Together, we’ll explore the wonderful qualities of willow, how it bends, shapes, and joins, and how to work with its natural curves. Along the way, we’ll learn a little about where to find willow, how to harvest it responsibly, and how to prepare it for future projects.
By the end of our time together, you’ll have your own moon and a handful of stars to take home, each with its own character, shaped by your hands and the rhythm of the weaving.
No previous weaving experience is needed, only curiosity and a willingness to learn.
