The Korean American Autoharp Group (President Young Hye Kang) will host the '2026 KAAG Charity Concert – The Hymn & Gospel Festival' on Saturday, October 24th at 3 PM at Bethany Church (1095 Cloud Ave, Menlo Park). The concert is free to attend, and donations from attendees will be used to support neighbors in need and mission sites.
The nonprofit KAAG has been steadily sharing and serving through music every year, starting with sponsoring $10,300 for Ukrainian refugee children in 2022. They have supported various causes, including spreading Korean children’s songs and art songs, supporting Hansen’s disease patients in Burundi, providing vocational training for visually impaired Koreans in the LA area, and in 2025, they also supported the Stanford Pediatric Oncology Center, practicing sharing with the local community and those in need.
At this charity concert, KAAG members will perform hymns and gospel music centered around the autoharp, delivering messages of love and hope through music.
Notably, KAAG was founded by Ray Choi, a four-time world autoharp champion. The academy started with the goal of brightening and warming churches and local communities through music by training leaders. Based on his experience in autoharp performance and education, Ray Choi nurtures leaders in various regions while promoting the value of service and sharing through music.
"Music connects people's hearts, and small acts of sharing can become great hope for someone," they said. "We hope this charity concert will be a warm time for everyone who loves music to come together and care for their neighbors."
