Kavanah: Shema - Nigun & Soundbath Workshop

Dive deep into nigun melodies and let the soothing soundbath wash over you. Shema means "listen." In this in person session we explore listening as a spiritual practice, in the tradition of the nigun, the wordless melody that Jewish mystics used to carry the soul where words cannot reach. We will set our Kavanah (intention), sing simple nigunim, and then lie back for a soundbath immersion in resonant tones that invite the body to settle and the mind to become still.
