About this Event
Welcome to your Sad Sapphic Autumn Spin Class!
Join us at Gymbox Elephant & Castle for a gorgeous SAD SAPPHIC spin class! We cannot wait to celebrate all our favourite sapphic pop stars and their yearning / sad / depression era songs with youuuuu! Think Girl In Red (Blue?!), Chappell Roan, MUNA (Crying On The Bathroom Floor is at the centre of the moodboard for this theme!), Boygenius (and Phoebe Bridgers', Lucy Dacus' & Julien Baker's solo projects!), Kehlani, Billie Eilish, Hayley Kiyoko, Zolita, Reneé Rapp, Carol Ades, Devon Again, Romy, G Flip, The Beaches, Tegan & Sara, Clairo & SO MANY MORE! This is a branch off our known and loved SAPPHIC POP GIRLIES theme - every artist in the playlist is a lesbian, bi or pansexual! Ps. you ABSOLUTELY CAN come to this ride if you are not a lesbian, loving allies are welcome! The ride will be approx 55 minutes in length but we'll be together slightly longer, for around an hour including set up/cool down.
Anti-diet culture, jiggly dance party on a bike. The focus will be on how we feel and reconnecting with the joy of movement. This is an all ability ride, whether it's your first ride or your 1000th you are so welcome!
Ash is a queer, non binary human dismantling diet-culture one spin class at a time! Check out their vibe on insta & TikTok @ashrideslondon :)
Pop music lovers assemble!!!

Ash Rides London classes are offered using a sliding scale for pricing. The actual cost of the class is £18 and tickets listed below that price are limited. We encourage you to consider the Green Bottle Method (see image below), designed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, for guidance as to where to place yourself on the sliding scale.
QUICK GUIDE TO THE SLIDING SCALE
*The top price ticket is the actual cost of the class and represents the full green bottle. If you choose a ticket price below the top tier you are receiving a discount. We have called this option 'i wanna be your girlfriend'.
*The middle price ticket represents the half full green bottle. We have called this option 'The Subway'.
*The bottom price ticket represents the almost empty green bottle. We have called this option 'True Blue'.
There are a small number of bikes in every ride which are priced higher than the actual cost of the class. These are solidarity tickets which allow those with the means to do so to 'pay it forward' and subsidise the lower cost tickets. We have called these tickets 'Folded'.
(Please note we cannot offer refunds, but if you're unable to make it, let us know at least 48 hours ahead of the class and we'll do what we can to transfer your ticket to another Ash Rides London class, subject to availability)!
THANK YOU :)
