About this Event
Performed by 100 voices with a live band featuring Mark Cruz on bass, Reggie Carter on Hammond organ, and Cole Koenning on drums.
After each performance, stay for a festive reception and browse our holiday silent auction, featuring gifts, experiences, and goodies donated by local Austin businesses.
You’ll hear songs like “Rise Up Shepherd and Follow” and “Now Let Me Fly,” alongside “This Little Light of Mine” and “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” The program also includes Rollo Dilworth’s “Elijah Rock,” Rosephanye Powell’s “Have You Seen the Baby Jesus,” and a small-ensemble performance of Moses Hogan’s “The Battle of Jericho.” And yes, we’re singing “Joyful, Joyful,” the gospel classic you might know from Sister Act 2.
First Austin Church - December 13 (Sun, 3pm)
On Sunday, December 13th, this performance will be ASL-interpreted by Amber G. Productions.
