Botterill broke barriers as the youngest player on Team Canada at the first Olympics for women’s ice hockey, while Campbell-Pascall set records as the longest-serving captain in Canadian hockey history—and the first of any gender to lead the country to two Olympic gold medals.
Since their Hall of Fame playing careers, both have remained at the very top their game as sought-after broadcasters and advocates for atheletes. Now, in their memoirs Why Not You and Just a Girl, these two titans of hockey invite us into their worlds like never before.
Jennifer Botterill and Cassie Campbell-Pascall speak with sportscaster Ailish Forfar about their new memoirs, taking a look back on their decorated hockey careers and toward a brighter future for all who play the game.
