About the graphic novel:
From the New York Times-bestselling author and illustrator of Star Wars Jedi Academy, Darth Vader and Son and Marvel’s Hulk Teach comes an awesome new adventure for graphic novel and comic fans aged 7+, full of the heart-warming genius of cartoonist Jeffrey Brown―and the unlimited creativity of LEGO play!
Imagine a world where technology has been lost and people have forgotten how to build…
Nikolas Nurdblok is the youngest child in a family of adventurers who search for lost things. Now it is time for Nik to join the rest of his family for his FIRST ADVENTURE.
The problem is that Nik’s family doesn’t appreciate his genius. After a couple of mishaps that definitely weren’t Nik’s fault, his family sets off to find a legendary LOST BRICK … but leaves him at home.
Nik decides he’s going anyway. His mum and dad didn’t say he couldn’t go―they just said he couldn’t go with them. And so, Nik and his loyal best friend Knute embark on an adventure that will (probably) change the world. OBVIOUSLY Nik can find the lost brick by himself and doesn’t need anyone else there … or does he?
A highly illustrated graphic novel adventure full of laugh-out-loud moments, creative building, and the occasional alligator, Nikolas Nurdblok and the Lost Brick is perfect for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dog Man and The 13-Storey Treehouse.
