- It is a safe, informal creative wellbeing session also using Black storytelling to explore your feelings and experiences connected to racism or racial trauma led by a professional qualified Think Tenacity Black therapist who looks like you.
- You'll use simple arts crafts and creative activities such as drawing, and writing using pens, pencils and A4 paper to express your thoughts and feelings that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
- No artistic experience is needed. You do not need to be good at drawing or writing. There is no pressure to create a perfect picture or share anything you do not want to discuss.
- At the end of the group session, you will learn new simple coping techniques to manage difficult emotions connected to racism or racial trauma. You will have an opportunity to reflect on your creative arts journey ending the arts group session with “Q&A With A Black Therapist".
