International Masterclass
El Creador y su Imaginario
with Jorge Hugo Marín
As part of the Sin Fronteras Launch, Colombian director, playwright, actor, and theater-maker Jorge Hugo Marín will lead El Creador y su Imaginario, an intensive three-hour masterclass exploring the relationship between the artist, their imagination, and the creation of original theatrical work.
Designed for actors, directors, playwrights, and theater makers, participants will explore their own creative universe as a source for performance and theatrical creation—working with ideas, experiences, images, and impulses that can be transformed into material for the stage.

Es maestro en Arte Dramático de la Universidad de Antioquia, con una maestría en dirección escénica de la Universidad del Valle.
Es actor, director, dramaturgo y gestor cultural. En el año 2009 cofundó La Maldita Vanidad compañía teatral. Ha escrito y dirigido más de veinte obras, algunas de ellas en coproducción con importantes entidades como: el Festival de Viena, HAU Berlín, Teatro Colón Bogotá, Teatro Mayor, Festival Iberoamericano de teatro de Bogotá, Alcaldía de Bogotá, Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia. Sus obras han sido invitadas a más de 50 festivales internacionales entre América y Europa.
Profesor en Arte Dramático de la Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá y en la Casa de La Maldita Vanidad.
