About this Event
Wandsworth residents are invited to a free public meeting about proposed changes to how social housing is offered to people in the borough.
Wandsworth Council is reviewing its Housing Allocation Scheme.
The Housing Allocation Scheme sets out the rules for who can join the housing register, how applications are assessed, how priority is worked out and how available social homes are offered.
We are consulting on proposed changes and want to hear what you think before final decisions are made.
Your feedback will help us understand the possible impacts of the proposals, including any concerns or impacts people may not have expected, and whether there are ways the proposals could be improved or made fairer.
These free, in-person meetings are an opportunity to:
- hear more about the Housing Allocation Scheme Review
- learn about the proposed changes
- ask questions
- tell us what you think
- find out how to complete the full consultation survey
You do not need to be on the housing register to take part.
Have your say online
If you cannot make the meetings you can also read more about the proposals and complete the consultation survey online from 22 October 2026 to 18 January 2027:
Have your say - Citizen Space
Have your say via a paper form
If you need the questionnaire in paper format, please contact us at [email protected], or call 020 8871 6000 quoting Wandsworth Housing Allocation Scheme Consultation.
Please complete the survey even if you attend one of the meetings. This gives you the opportunity to comment on the individual proposals in more detail.
