Grandmother has a new home, and she's throwing a little party to celebrate. You're invited. She's opening the doors to her brand-new café at The Social Hub Amsterdam and welcoming everyone in for a first look around.
But who exactly is Grandmother?
Grandmother is a café built around a simple idea: care more. About food, about people, about sharing and about the little things that make life good.
It's a place where age gets the respect it deserves, where recipes and stories are passed around the table, and where everyone has a seat. She promises great food, generous portions, warm hospitality, interesting conversations and a little grandmotherly wisdom along the way.
For her housewarming, she's keeping things simple: opening the doors, putting out the good stuff and bringing people together.
And because no housewarming is complete without a little entertainment, she's got a few things up her sleeve:
- Confessions Booth: Got something to get off your chest? Grandmother will never judge, she has done worse.
- Vintage Fashion Corner: A little second-hand fashion, with some first-class grandmotherly advice.
- Hug Corner: Because sometimes all you need is a hug.
- Kids' Corner: Analog games, old-school fun and no screens required.
- Tattoo Artist: A little something to remember your visit by.
- DJ: Keeping the house party going with some good tunes.
- Call Grandmother in Barcelona: Pick up the analogue telephone and give Grandmother a ring at her other home, Grandmother Café at The Social Hub Barcelona. She's always happy for a chat, wherever you are!
