Gunshots - continuous AK-47 fire. It is 5 a.m. in a Rio de Janeiro favela. Whether this was the trigger or just the final straw, Thiago Presto’s bags are packed: he immigrates to Leipzig in 2019.
Five years later. Two determined musicians, Simon Ulm and Eric Patzschke, face the end of their band Godzilla In The Kitchen. Their drummer is gone, and how to complete the once-congenial trio again in 2024 remains a massive mystery. But as always in the history of this band - which reached its first peak in 2022 by performing at Wacken Open Air - giving up was not an option. The allure of big stages and roaring applause was too strong. A chain of countless coincidences later, Thiago Presto is sitting behind the band's drums. He brings a massive dose of power and Maracatu to their progressive and psychedelic groove-rock!
Everything changes - instrumental is a thing of the past - it is time to say something, to address things, to channel emotions: Simon Ulm takes over vocals. What was once an instrumental rock band is now a powerhouse of alternative metal with contemporary lyrics. Global events are subtly commented on, all packed into the visual environment fans have grown accustomed to from previous albums: Termination Sequence - album number 3 by Godzilla In The Kitchen.

Joining them are their stoner metal dudes Mudfinger from Koblenz, who will heat things up as support with their steamroller-like riffs, razor-sharp solos, and driving drums.
