Dear Community,As part of the Seattle Catrinas Festival 2026, you and your family are cordially invited to a free art exposition celebrating the Day of the Dead in Seattle.
From October 4 through October 29, 2026, the Seattle Catrinas Festival, with the support of the Downtown Seattle Association, will present an Art Heritage Exhibition titled "Day of the Dead Art Exposition."
- Opening Day: Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM
- Exposition Dates: October 4, 2024 – October 29, 2026. Free and open to all the public.
- Location: Westlake Park, Downtown Seattle. 401 Pine St. Seattle, WA. 98101.
Opening Day Program (Sunday, October 4):
- 1:00 PM: Catrina face painting begins. Food and craft vendors.
- 2:00 PM: Nahui Ollin Aztec dancers ceremony and performance
- 2:30 PM: Baile Folklore Colibrí performance
- 3:00 PM: Brief speech on the history of Día de los Muertos
- 3:15 PM: Ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a concert by Mariachi Monarcas.
- 4:30 PM: Event concludes
Following this opening event, the Seattle Catrinas Festival will continue on October 31 & November 1 (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM) at Town Hall Seattle, located at 1119 8th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101.
